VARANDARAPPILLY: A bike-borne youth threw chilli powder at a woman in Velupadam. The incident happened yesterday afternoon near her house. The woman escaped unharmed. The locals had complained that a youth was found wandering around in the area. The police have started an investigation. Police hinted that the youth is mentally unstable.
