THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The report of the office secretary of governor stated that Higher Education Minister K T Jaleel has misused power. The report was handed over to Governor Arif Muhammed Khan.

The minister attending the technical university adalat without the permission of the governor was wrong. The report said the vice chancellor shouldn’t have approved the decision to revaluate a third time the answer sheets of a failed student.

The paper was re-valuated a third time following the intervention of the minister. This is misuse of power. There are no rules in the university to re-valuate the answer sheets of a failed student a third time.

The governor is examining the report and action will be taken after that, informed the Raj Bhavan.
