KATTAPANA: In a recent development, investigating officials have recovered a suicide note written by SI Anil Kumar who had recently committed suicide in Idukki. In the note, Anil Kumar accuses an ASI and three other policemen of torturing him in the Thrissur Police Academy. It is learnt that Anil Kumar had also mentioned about the work stress involved in running the police canteen.

According to sources, Anil had demanded a probe against the ASI over various financial irregularities. It was Anil who had been looking after the functioning of the police canteen for the last few years.

Following this, the Idukki district Crime Branch has started investigating the matter. Anil Kumar was found dead on Tuesday soon after he returned from Thrissur.
