THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said the visit to Japan and Korea was a success. An investment of Rs 200 crore has been confirmed from Japan. We have benefited from the trips abroad. The visit to Japan and Korea was eyeing youngsters. Businessmen in Japan are impressed with Kerala and this is due to the investment friendly atmosphere of the state, he said.

Pinarayi said Nitta Gelatin Company will invest more in Kerala and the government will soon sign a deal with Toshiba Company. We have to increase production in Kerala itself and in addition, fair distribution of resources are the basic approaches presented in the manifesto. The government is intervening in it.

‘The chief minister along with his team recently visited Japan and Korea. Infrastructure, education, healthcare and new industries need to be taken to the next stage of growth. Visited the places with that intention. It was a successful visit. We need to increase production in a good manner. Have directly explained the benefits whenever went abroad. There is no answer to anyone's criticism, he said.
