KOCHI: Women traffic police officers hit by car during their duty in Marine Drive were entered into a private hospital here. Hemachandra and Binu Elizabeth of Pink Patrolling Department were hit by a car while the officers were crossing the road. Hemachandra’s head hit the car’s wind shield, breaking it. Her condition is critical.

The CCTV footage was released. The police registered a case against the navy officer who was behind the wheel.
