KOZHIKODE: A man was shot dead in Vilangad near Kerala early on Sunday morning.

The incident occurred when the victim and another person went for hunting inside the Pullipara forest area.

The accused Libin Mathew (28) told the police that it was an accident. Rashid (33), the deceased was shot on the left side of his head, near the ear. Libin Mathew told the police that the gun was made after watching Youtube videos.

The dead body was shifted to Medical College Hospital mortuary.
