OTTAPALAM: A four-year old girl was locked in her classroom at Pathankulam UP School in Ottapalam. Without knowing that she was in the classroom, the authorities locked the room and left.

The girl was found in the class in a search conducted by her relatives after she did not reach home. The headmaster tendered an apology for the incident. The relatives were not ready to lodge a complaint in it.
