ALUVA: A Malayali CISF officer died after he was shot by his colleague during their travel from Chhattisgarh to Jharkhand. The dead has been identified as Aluva Muppathadam native Balan’s son Shahul Harsham (28). Another soldier is also believed to have been killed.

The initial report said that he died in a Naxal attack and this was later confirmed to be wrong information. He had been home for the last time just three months ago.

Balan (retired Airforce personnel) is his father and a native of Kannur. His mother’s name is Leela. Adv. Shabarsha is his only sister. The body will be cremated on Wednesday noon at Kodungallur Gram panchayat.
