KANPUR: Recently, a video has surfaced online which shows a man getting beaten up by a woman constable for allegedly harassing the schoolgirls in Uttar Pradesh. The video has gone viral and the woman constable was seen beating him 22 times in almost 30 seconds. The incident occurred in Kanpur in UP.

According to sources, the incident occurred after the man was found harassing some school girls on the street. Speaking on the matter, a police official said, "Anti-Romeo Squad got the information that a man is allegedly harassing some school girls. So, the team immediately took the action against him. We arrested the accused and put him in judicial custody. We want to give a message to all the anti-social elements that respect the women."

Several people have come up praising the woman constable for taking immediate action against the culprit.
