THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP State general secretary K Surendran has taken a dig at Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan after, earlier in the day, he made a statement that the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill 2019 passed in the Rajya Sabha will not be implemented in Kerala.

Surendran’s FB post:

“All laws passed in Parliament will get implemented in Kerala as well. It will get implement in hard-core Modi hater Mamata Deedi’s Bengal, leave alone Kerala.

However, this law is not relevant in Kerala in a big way because I don’t think, in Kerala, there are refugees who have been driven away from countries like Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Pinarayi is simply flattering, eying a few votes.

Pinarayi, who feels that day will break only if hen crows, is living in fools’ paradise. Wonder why Pinarayi is not getting good sense, despite the presence of so many advisers?”
