NEW DELHI: Union Minister V Muraleedharan came down heavily on the statement of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan that the Citizenship Amendment bill (CAB) will not be implemented in Kerala. If he is not ready to obey the law passed by the Parliament, it is better for him to leave the administration, said Muraleedharan.

‘Had seen him speaking that the citizenship bill will not be implemented in Kerala. His speech was to get clapping from the gallery. To deceive whom is he presenting these stupid acts, he asked in a Facebook post. Prakash Karat and the CPM are now crying saying that democracy is dead forgetting that at the 20th party congress held in Kozhikode 2012 demanded an amendment of the National Citizenship Act to make Bangladeshi refugees Indian citizens.
