KOCHI: Search for drugs in film locations following allegations over the use of it has started. The search is being conducted based on secret information. Film producers’ organization had alleged that the new-generation actors were indulging in drug abuse. They demanded close scrutiny in locations and requested the government to intervene and take action.

As per instructions obtained, the excise team raided some Kochi based locations. Excise additional commissioner Sam Christi informed that they have not obtained any evidences on the use of it.

The raids will continue in the coming days.
