KOZHIKODE: The CPI (M) has come up with a key statement regarding the imposition of UAPA on Alan and Thaha. CPI(M) said that the documents seized by the police in the presence of party workers are proofs to their Maoist connection. CPI (M) leader P.K. Premnath pointed out these at a political meeting.
CPI(M) dismissed the claims that the pro-Maoist sloganeering was due to the pressure of police. The party pointed out that Thaha sloganeered on his own and the police did not threaten him.
Pinarayi Vijayan is always wrong while Kanam Rajendran is right-the meeting criticized CPI secretary Kanam Rajendran’s stand. There were statements like “CPI did injustice to Prof. Eachara Warrier in rajan case has no right to criticize Pinarayi Vijayan”.
