THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The protests across the nation against the Citizenship Amendment Act has seen its reverberation in the state capital. Protests led by DYFI and KSU to the Raj Bhavan ended in a clash as police had to water cannons.

DYFI activists marched to Raj Bhavan at around 11 pm. The police used barricades to stop the protesters but the activists tried to bypass the blockades and the police had to resort to using water cannons. KSU protesters staged protest in front of Raj Bhavan around 12:30 am.
