The initial works of a film based on the life of Karnatic music doyen Chembai Vaidhyanatha Bhagavathar have started. Music director and director of the film ‘Munthiri Monchan’ Vijith Nambiar is making the film.

There are unconfirmed reports that Mohanlal will be doing the role of the veteran singer and this has created a buzz among his fans.

The preproduction work of the film, in which top technicians of India will be brought together, is progressing now.
