KOZHIKODE: In a shocking incident in Kozhikode, a father committed suicide after stabbing his daughter to death. The incident happened at Madavoor near Kunnamangalam. It is learnt that the seriously injured mother is undergoing treatment at the Kozhikode Medical College Hospital.

According to sources, the man, named Devadas, attacked his stepdaughter and wife after a quarrel on Saturday evening. While the daughter died on the spot due to a serious injury, several neighbours came to the rescue of the mother and took her to the hospital. According to reports, the condition of the mother is critical.

According to the neighbours that it was a family dispute that led to the murder. Meanwhile, the police have started an investigation.
