NEW DELHI: The police in Uttar Pradesh said Keralites are also involved in the violent incidents that broke out during the protests staged against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). Intelligence report of UP police said people from Kerala are involved in the violent incidents and riots in Kanpur. The police said they will stick posters in Kerala to find them.

The police had earlier asserted that Popular Front are also included in the attacks in UP. The police had arrested leaders of the Popular Front on the incidents. Following this, police informed that people from Kerala are also involved in the incidents.

Police said their posters will be made after examining the footages of the CCTV. The posters will be stuck in UP, Delhi and Kerala. People from Delhi have also a role in the attacks.

Large scale violence and arson rocked several places of Uttar Pradesh. Nearly 21 people had lost their lives in the violence. Following this, the UP government had taken steps to confiscate the assets of those who unleashed violence.
