PALAKKAD: Screenwriter Syam Pushkaran has made his opinion known about the controversial Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the central government. Speaking at a debate programme ‘Syam Pushkaran Nights’ of Ottappalam Dialogue Film Society, Syam Pushkaran said that the CAA is anti-Muslim and this has become a practice for central government recently.
Syam Pushkaran added that everyone is aware of such things and ‘they’ don’t like Muslims at all. The ‘Kumbalangi Nights’ screenwriter said this as a reply to a question regarding CAA.
Many celebrities came forward on social media and on the streets protesting the CAA. Syam Pushkaran is one of the latest film personality from Malayalam Film Industry who made his feelings known to the public.
