One of the best pictures of 2019 was ‘Lucifer’ directed by Prithviraj with Mohanlal as the hero. The film became a mega hit with Murali Gopi’s screenplay, Prithvi’s directorial venture and acting of Mohanlal. The fans were excited when the second part of the film was announced.

Soon after the film was announced, the fans were eagerly waiting for the release. One of the fans posted a comment on Murali Gopi's Facebook account asking the release date of the film. Murali opens his mind about the film in an interview to Kaumudy TV.

‘I am doing another project before Lucifer 2. Lalettan has his directorial venture Baroz. Only after these two films, Lucifer 2 will start. The shooting of it will start by the end of 2021,’ he said.
