Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Wednesday said all poor people in Kerala who have no Ration Cards will be supplied with the cards.
He was speaking to media persons after the cabinet meeting.

“Concepts on Rebuilding Kerala will be taken up in Loka Kerala Sabha. The row between churches over burial will be sorted out through promulgating ordinance. Another happy thing is that the area of forests in the State has increased. Increasing the greenery of the topography is important during the rebuilding of Kerala..

A project will be planned to plant 37 crore saplings. Decision will be taken to change all existing street lights into LED lights. The works on State roads will be completed before May this year.

Though the State is in the forefront in ensuring women’s security, the hassles undergone by travelling women are many. Boarding facilities for them and their small children will be arranged in all cities. Women-friendly centres will be set up in all cities.

Special project will be designed to increase employment opportunities. A decision will be taken to arrange part-time jobs for students and Youth leadership Academy will be started. All pending complaints will be disposed this year.”
