CHANGANASSERY: The Nair Service Society (NSS) on Wednesday cleared the air regarding its stand on the Citizenship Amendment Act. Emphasizing on the fact that the NSS will always support secularism, General Secretary G Sukumaran Nair said that he didn't attend the meeting called by the Chief Minister regarding the CAA as there is nothing much to discuss the organization's stand on secularism.
"NSS will always stand by values of secularism, democracy and social justice. This was said by Mannath Padmanabhan hundred years ago and we will always follow this stand," he said. He also added that the representatives of NSS are not ready to participate in a meeting attended by those who keep on changing their stands every now and then.
