THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala police on Wednesday submitted its report regarding the protest against Governor Arif Mohammad khan at the venue of the Indian History Congress in Kannur. According to the report submitted by DGP Loknath Behera and Intelligence chief, there was no security lapse at the venue. The report also holds the organisers responsible for the untoward incidents at the function.
As per the report the police had arranged proper security for the governor. It also states that the orators of the function were decided by the organisers. Earlier, the governor had sought a detailed report regarding the protest. He had also criticised the police and said that they failed in providing proper security during the function. The governor had even summoned the Chief Secretary to inform his dissatisfaction.
