THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPI mouth piece Janayugam has, in its editorial, criticised Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan for not mentioning the name of former Chief Minister Achutha Menon in his inaugural speech delivered during the 50th anniversary of Land Reformation Act.

“No one would ever believe Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan would have forgotten to mention the name of M Achutha Menon. But, it is the misinterpretation of historical facts. It questions the approach of the Left towards history,” the editorial says.

At-least some people are forgetting to accept the realities and respect historical facts. At a time when Kerala politics is being maligned by twisting and misinterpreting history, the reluctance to accpept the hisotrial truths won’t suit Left politics,” the mouth piece adds.
