KOCHI: Petrol and diesel prices are up again in the state. The prices have gone up by more than Rs 2 in a month. Petrol prices were up by 10 paise and diesel was hiked by 12 paise today. The conflict between Iran and America affected fuel prices. The current price of petrol is Rs 77.57 per litre and diesel Rs 72.24 per litre. The price of Brent crude oil today is 68.60. Crude oil prices have also increased in the global market.

In the current scenario, prices are likely to go up. The conflict between America and Iran will seriously affect the oil market. Iran owns 10 percent of the world's oil reserves. Countries like Iran and Iraq alone produced 6.7 million barrels of crude oil daily for the past one month.
