NEW DELHI: A group of protestors raised slogans against Union Home Minister Amit Shah while he was attending a door-to-door campaign to spread awareness about the Citizenship Amendment Act in Delhi. The incident took place at Lajpat Nagar when a couple of women asked him to 'Go back.'
The women also raised banners which read 'Amit Shah go back' and 'Shame'. Following the protest, a small ruckus occurred in the area as certain BJP workers attempted to remove the banner.
Earlier, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, who is visiting Kerala for a similar programme, also faced similar protests from various people.
