KOZHIKODE: The SDPI has declared that they would strongly protest if ministers from Union ministers reached Kerala. “The party will decide on the course of its protest programmes after Amit Shah announces his date of Kerala visit. The State government should intervene and stop all surveys being carried out by the Centre in Kerala,” SDPI state president P Abdul Majeed Faizi said.
Faizi said the Centre’s denial of flood relief fund is part of its political vendetta. “Therefore Union ministers should not be allowed to set foot on Kerala soil. The Centre has been conducting survey using Anganwadi staff and collecting details including location of people’s houses. All these give room for doubts… From January 11, SDPI will conduct campaigns all over India against Citizenship Rights Amendment Act,” he added.
