KOCHI: Actor Dilieep, the 8th accused in the actress attack case, has approached the Supreme court to stop the trial in the case. It is learnt that the actor has demanded the apex court to intervene and stop the trial processes until the conclusion of the forensic test of the visuals of the attack.

Earlier, the court had rejected his plea to drop charges against him. The trial in the case will begin at the special CBI court in Ernakulam on January 30.
