NEW DELHI: Latest report suggests that BJP president Amit Shah is all set to step down from his position as the party chief. It is learnt that BJP working president JP Nadda will be soon taking over his position.

According to sources, Nadda will swear in as party chief on January 19 or 20. Meanwhile, political analysts felt that the shift in leadership might affect the party's performance in the upcoming Delhi elections. It must be noted that it was under Shah's leadership that the BJP emerged as the party with the largest majority in the country.
