NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court Monday said they will not consider the pleas filed seeking to review the verdict related to Sabarimala women entry. The court will hear arguments on the seven questions related to legal issues voiced by the court’s five-member bench. The court will hear arguments on seven questions including whether the Supreme Court has jurisdiction to intervene in religious practices. A nine-judge bench headed by Chief Justice S A Bobde is hearing the arguments in the case.

The Supreme Court will decide on the pleas filed against women entry based on the verdict of the nine-member bench. Questions related to legal issues were voiced when pleas against women entry in Sabarimala was considered. The Chief Justice directed that questions be referred to the larger bench for finding a solution to these issues and that the petitions for review of the verdict be maintained. The seven-member bench was constituted on the basis of this ruling.
