KOTTAYAM: The two leaves symbol of Kerala Congress (M) has been frozen by the Election Commission (EC) till January 20.

The action was taken after a complaint filed by Jose K. Mani faction alleging that the P. J. Joseph faction was misusing the symbol.

A detailed hearing will be heard on January 20th and the EC will take a final decision regarding the issue.

The uncertainty regarding two leaves symbol comes at a time when bypoll to Kuttanad is round the corner.
