KOZHIKODE: Sabitha Madathil, a relative of Alan Shuhaib who was arrested under UAPA for his alleged Maoist link, has taken to Facebook to slam CPM leader P Jayarajan. The leader had the other day alleged that Alan and his friend Thaha were arrested because they were propagating Maoism using SFI as cover.

I came to know about what you said on Friday at KLF venue – “Alan remained in SFI and carried out Maoist activities”.
Alan had associated himself with the local CPM near our house and worked for the party but he was also not an active SFI man in Palayadu campus. Thus how is it possible for a passive SFI worker like him to convert SFI men to Maoists? Do you think that SFI men do not have organisational awareness? Can you point out even a single SFI person who was lured to Maoism by Alan?
