KOCHI: DYFI State Secretary AA Raheem on Monday lashed out at the Syro Malabar Church over their allegations regarding 'Love Jihad' in Kerala. Dismissing their claim, Raheem asked the Church to present any proof of any activities in the name of 'Love Jihad' in the state.

According to Raheem. the Church's latest claim seems to be in support of the RSS as it was RSS that first came up with accusations regarding 'Love Jihad'. He also added that the Church seems to easily forget about the destruction of Churches in North India in the name of religion. He also pointed out that the State Police Chief had confirmed that there is no 'Love Jihad' in the state.

Earlier, Syro-Malabar had claimed that Christian girls are targeted and killed in the name of 'love Jihad' in Kerala. However, certain groups of priests belonging to the Syro-Malabar group had raised a protest against the claim.
