THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Water Authority has informed that those who pay water charges online before the due date will get a deduction of 1 percentage of the total bill amount.

A bill will get a maximum deduction of Rs 100. It has also been decided to receive the bill amounts of business establishments and amounts more than Rs 2000 only through online.

The above system will come into effect on March 1.
