While the Malayalam film 'Driving License', starring Prithviraj and Suraj Venjaramood, is running to packed houses, actor Prithviraj on Thursday apologised for delivering a defamatory remark against a private institution in the film. The actor made the apology at the High Court after the Ahalya Foundation filed a plea claiming that a particular dialogue in the movie was intended to tarnish the institution's reputation.
Prithviraj also informed the court that the controversial dialogue has been removed from the film. The complaint was by the Ahalya Foundation filed after the actor's character was shown criticizing the Ahalya Hospital and refusing to act in its advertisement.
