THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Two people have been kept under observation in the state after they were suspected to be affected by Coronavirus. Minister KK Shailaja, who informed this, said that the two have been kept under observation at isolated wards in Ernakulam and Thiruvananthapuram. She also added that the situation is very much under control and there is no need to worry.
Meanwhile, isolation wards have been set up at all Medical Colleges of the state. The State Health Department has asked all those people who have recently arrived from China to undergo medical tests before the respective District Medical Officers.
Earlier, the Indian Consulate in Jeddah had informed that the condition of the Kerala nurse, who was infected by Coronavirus, has improved. It is also learnt that the nurse will be discharged from the hospital within two days.
