THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Senior BJP leader O Rajagopal expressed his displeasure on the delay in announcing the state chief of Kerala. The BJP is without a state president despite the announcement of a national president. He said there is no leadership to resist the campaigns against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and to intervene in a timely manner. Rajagopal said that he has informed about it to Amit Shah and to the new national chief J P Nadda.

Rajagopal said, “The BJP has not supported the resolution against CAA in the assembly. The objectionable speeches are in the records of the assembly. It is not my practice to resist by hurling abuses. I have my own style and I am moving forward according to that. The opposition criticising the chief minister for attending Governor’s feast is narrow-minded.
