Bowled over by the innocence of school children, Devikulam sub-collector became one among the little children. Sub-collector Prem Krishnan IAS had visited a school on the Republic Day and on his Facebook page, he shares the wonderful experience he had with the children there.

“From the cohort of school children who had arrived at the school to celebrate the Republic Day, there rose an off-the-cuff question from one among them: “Sir, are you not the collector? Could you buy me an ice-cream?

When I bought ice-cream for the student who had asked me for it, other children also started asking for it. Then I didn’t have second thoughts and bought a cup of ice-cream each for all students. Children were happy, ice-cream seller was happy and seeing the children’s smile, we were also happy!!!”
