THRISSUR: In the wake of coronavirus confirmed in Kerala, precautions have been strengthened in the state, said Health Minister K K Shailaja. Those coming from virus affected places should try to skip public functions. Treatment facilities will be arranged in private hospitals also. It is better to postpone functions including wedding ceremonies. Those coming from China should contact the Union Health Ministry and should seek voluntary treatment.
Meantime, the girl tested positive of the virus has been shifted to Thrissur Medical College. The condition of the student at the isolation ward has improved. A total of 1053 are under observation in the state. Of these 15 are under treatment in hospitals. Their test results are yet to come.
