The trailer of 'Varane Avashyamund' directed by Anoop Sathyan Anthikkad featuring Dulquer Salman, Suresh Gopi, Shobhana and Kalyani Priyadarshan was released. From the trailer, it seems to be a promising family entertainer with romance and drama. The movie was produced under the banner of Dulquer Production with the association of M Star Films and Wayfarer Films. Right from the movie's announcement, it became one of the most anticipated especially due to the exciting cast.

Apart from the leads, Urvashi, Major Ravi, Lalu Alex, Johny Antony and Wafa Khadeeja did prominent roles in the movie. This is Kalyani's Priyadarshan's first movie in Malayalam.
