KOLLAM: Kerala police has finally managed to arrest the thief who had been operating at various schools in both Tamil Nadu and Kerala on the days of admission. The thief has been identified as Vinod(28), a native of Thuckalay. What is even more interesting about Vinod is that he was thought to be killed in a commotion by the Tamil Nadu police.

According to police, Vinod usually gains information about admission dates of schools from the internet and later goes on to rob money from the schools at night. Though the police had tried to catch hold of him several times, they failed in doing so. However, they were able to finally nab him from his hiding place near Cuddalore.

According to reports, Vinod had stolen almost Rs 60000 from the Infant Jesus School in Kollam last month. Apart from the theft, he had also destroyed the CCTV settings of the school. Police said that Vinod had also stolen around Rs 50000 from the St Aloysius School on the same day.

Apart from these two schools, Vinod is also known for stealing large sums of money from various schools in Thirunelveli and other parts of Tamil Nadu.

Vinod, who used to work in a company in Tamil Nadu, was believed to be dead after he got involved in a fight at a local bar. Even the Tamil Nadu police had mistaken one of the dead bodies found in the bar as his dead body. Following this, they had stopped the investigation of multiple cases against him.
