Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said in the Assembly on Monday that SDPI men have been unleashing violence in the protests held against Citizenship Rights Amendment Act.

There should a strong action against people using the protests as a cover for perpetrating violence. Soon after this BJP leader K Surendran came up with a Facebook post in reply to the chief minister’s statement.

K Surendran’s FB post (Translation)

“What Pinarayi Vijayan should do first is to expel SDPI activists who have sneaked into his party (CPM). Across the State such terrorists are holding various offices of the party. Alan and Thaha are just examples. Thousands of such kinds of people are in the party.

DYFI and SFI have become the recruiting agencies of terrorists. These people are behind all provocations that happened recently with the aim of igniting communal riots. What is needed is action not talks.”
