THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Police have closed the case filed by Former DGP T P Senkumar against journalists Kadavil Rasheed and G P Suresh Kumar

Police had found out that Sen Kumar’s allegations in his complaint were fake and allegations of conspiracy and attempt to manhandle him were baseless.

The police on Tuesday submitted the report in the court. Earlier, filing of the case against the media persons had become controversial.

The incident related to the case happened at Thiruvananthapuram Press Club recently when Senkumar shouted at Rasheed, presuming that he was there to disrupt the press conference.

Earlier, police had also filed a case against Senkumar based on the journalist’s complaint that he had formed a group and threatened them.

The case was also filed against Subhash Vasu and eight other identifiable persons, who were with Sen Kumar.
