CHENNAI: News has now emerged that the IT officials have decided to bring actor Vijay to Chennai after taking him into custody at a film set in Cuddalore. The Income-tax department has conducted raids at 20 properties of film producer Anbuchezhian and producers AGS Entertainment that produced Vijay's Deepavali blockbuster 'Bigil' directed by Atlee. It is said that a special team went to Cuddalore where the superstar was shooting for the upcoming movie 'Master'. As per the sources, questioning was done regarding Vijay's remuneration for his recent movie 'Bigil' which was informed by Anbu and AGS.

According to sources, raids are being done at Vijay's residences and his properties. In his recent films, Vijay has openly criticized the ruling governments regarding demonetization and GST, as pointed out by social media users.
