CHANGANASSERY: In a tragic incident, a man was killed after he lost control over his scooter in Changanassery. The deceased has been identified as Sojas, an NRI who has been working in the Middle East.

According to sources, the accident occurred after a cable line, that lied on the roadside, got tangled with the handle of Sojas' scooter. Sojas lost control of the scooter and crashed into an electric pole. Though he was rushed to the General Hospital, Sojas soon succumbed to death.

Sojas is survived by his wife Sherly and son Sajo. It is learnt that the police have initiated a probe regarding the accident.
