THRISSUR: Four members of a family were found dead inside their house in Pullut near Kodungalloor on Sunday. The deceased have been identified as Vinod, his wife Rama, their 14-year old-daughter and 9-year-old son.

The dead bodies were discovered by the police after they broke into the house following information from the neighbours of the family. It is learnt that the neighbours had contacted the police after noticing a foul smell that came out of the house. Police suspect that the family members have been dead for over three days.

Police officials added the cause of death is unknown and an investigation has been initiated into the matter
