NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court directed the state chief secretary to submit a list of unauthorized encroachments and buildings constructed in violation of coastal regulation zone in Kerala within six weeks.

The apex court bench headed by Justice Arun Mishra passed the order on the contempt plea of Major Ravi pointing that the state government is not giving a list of buildings built in violation of coastal law. Major Ravi had owned a flat in Maradu demolished following the Supreme Court order. Many including Major Ravi had come forward against the demolition.
