THRISSUR: Two forest guards were killed in a wildfire in Kottambathur in Desamangalam Panchayat. The deceased has been identified as Divakaran and Velayudhan-two temporary employees under Vadakkancherry Forest Division. Another person was left severely burnt.

The region was affected by wildfire from Saturday. Access to this place is cut off as the fire is ongoing.
