Vava Suresh, the snake catcher revealed the situation of the snakebite. He disclosed it in a special interview given to Kerala Kaumudi. I lost my sleep ten days before the incident and the snake bit me when my whole body was exhausted, he said. He also gives a fair reply to those who concocted fake stories against him.

‘It's been a long time since I've slept. When I was coming with a bottle containing the snake, a man introducing as the ward member told me that some people want to meet me. I opened the bottle honouring his words. I was very tired on the previous day while catching a snake from a house in Venjaramoodu. The next day I left for Pathanamthitta. I lost my sleep and was very exhausted. In that condition, the snake bit me. My work is hectic. I am not like an ordinary snake protector,’ he said.
