LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently lashed out at the Popular Front of India (PFI) for raising protest. Lashing out at the PFI, Adityanath said that the organisation is another version of the banned terrorist outfit Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI). "These organisations with vested interests are finding money for terrorist activities. Strict action will be taken against all those who resort to such activities. Those who betray the nation will have an unsung death," he said.

"Terror funding of the PFI came to the fore. Any sympathy for them means, support to the PFI and SIMI. Those who engage in treason against the country will have 'gumnam maut' (anonymous deaths). Those who work against the nation with their faces hidden won't be able to escape from the law," he added. The UP Chief Minister also added that there is a conspiracy behind the riots that take place in the name of anti-CAA protest.
