KASARGOD: Recent reports suggest that a rift has been formed within Kerala BJP just hours after the party announced its presidents for two districts. Lashing out at the leadership for promoting groupism within the party, State Committee member Ravisha Tantri Kuntar has announced his resignation from BJP.
According to Ravisha Tantri Kuntar, the party is controlled by groups and one cannot progress without becoming a member in any of these groups. He also added that he has handed over his resignation letter to the leadership as he felt that he can no longer come to terms with the leadership. Earlier, the BJP had announced K Sreekanth as the party president in Kasargod district. It must be noted that Ravisha Tantri was also considered for the post of district president.
